The baby room for the under two's is on the ground floor of the nursery with windows and emergency doors to the front of the building. It is cozy but light, and accessed from the main hallway.
As your child approaches 2 years of age they will move up to the toddler room to continue their learning and development. The 2-3 year olds have the upstairs room, with their own toilet and sensory room where they can enjoy a variety of experiences with light projectors and fluorescent toys.
The 3 and 4 year olds in the preschool group have a large open plan room which operates on a free flow basis, and has easy access to the outdoor play area. This means that your child can have some element of choice of whether they want to be inside or out when they are playing and learning. These areas are equipped with age-appropriate resources for learning and creative play, which help your child gain knowledge and develop their physical and social skills to prepare them for primary school.
The outdoor play area has a large deck with a playhouse and covered sandpit, and an area of safety surfacing for more physical play which is partly covered by a large gazebo to give some protection from the elements. There is also a quiet garden corner where your children can plant their own flowers and vegetables to learn how things grow.
